Almond Butter Dark Chocolate Hearts

If you have a silicon mold at home, it’s very easy to make healthy homemade chocolate hearts.  You’ll be sure they don’t have any additives or colorings.

Dark Chocolate

Make sure you get 70% cocoa or more dark chocolate, fair trade and organic.

For product suggestions, take a look at this Benefits of Dark Chocolate article.

Almond Butter

To make your own almond butter, nothing is simplier.  Put a bunch of almonds directly into your blender on high speed, until the oil of the nuts get out and make them turn into a creamy texture.  You can even add a bit of avocado oil if you want.

The addition of ground flaxseed brings a healthy twist with its plant-based fatty acid omega-3 content.

Original Silicon Molds

And as for the silicon mold, here are a few options available on Amazon (affiliate links) that could be delivered directly to your home.

You could even make some chocolate shooters with the last one!

Forget all about the usual ”Reese” chocolates and make your own; they are frankly healthier and tastier.

Here is the recipe, let me know how many you ate by the hour! 🙂
